Put their shoes in a Zip lock bag and put them in the freezer overnight. The cold from the freezer kills the bacteria that is in the shoes and making them stink. Have your daughters wash their feet with deodorant soap to help them not to sweat as much.

They may need to develop a routine to clean their feet. Have you tried anything natural? A good system is by this online company, bluebasins bath & body. They have a five step system. My boyfriend's feet smell but not too bad and he used it when I purchased it and the scent is pretty much gone. They have a tea tree soap which is good for bacteria, a mud mask for your feet, foot butter, soaks and a natural foot powder. The powder is to keep the feet cool and dry to prevent sweating and smelling.

Feet should be washed daily and rubbed with a talc such as Johnson's. Should do the trick. Treat feet same as hands, wash daily etc.
It's the rubber in the flat pumps [1940s American] which are the cause of the problem, make feet sweat.

Try bathing feet regularly in water with vinegar. Make sure no cuts on feet or it will sting. Also find using babywipes to freshen feet and letting them dry naturally helps.

Have them use an underarm antiperspirant/deodorant on their feet-- if they're really stinky, something powerful, like Mitchum should do the trick.

Assuming socks can't be worn and bathing regularly is done, try powdering feet with baby or foot powder.

Try wearing soft cotton peds or footsies - socklets that don't show. You can get them at Target.
Or a natural deoderant spray like this one: http://www.thecrystal.com/index.cfm
