I have been on the depo shot for 2 years now and this hasnt happened before. I dont bleed like a period. It is just a little bit and only lasts a few hours each day but it is on and off for 2 weeks now. Is that normal?

I was on the depo for 2 years, and i had a spell of really irregular bleeding that lasted a while, i went to my doc who said that by having another injection it should stop it. I had it and it did stop it, after that ive not had another period. Although to be fair i wouldn't take advice from people on here, go to your nurse/doctor they should advise you correctly!! xx

Its normal if you just started two weeks ago, but I'm not sure since you've had it for two years...

I was on it for four years and had horrible side affects.

Weight gain, moodiness, etc.

It's completley normal. You may have this for several months or longer. It's an affect of the hormones in the shot.
