when would be a good time to take a HPT or blood test?

My last period was april 17 2007. May 5 and 6 i had very light (pink) spotting that was only visible when checking cervical mucous. The spotting has quit all together. Wondering if that was due to implantation. My next period is due May 8 2007 which is tomorrow. I have never had spotting like that before my period except the day of period due date. I took an EPT Sunday and it was negative but in the past it took 15 weeks before my pregnancy even showed up on a HPT. My second pregnancy wasnt detected through the urine either. The doctor found the pregnancy when doing an ultarsound to check my ovaries. Which ended in a miscarriage at 5 months.Could I be pregnant and its just not showing on the HPT yet. When would be the best time to have either the blood test done or use an HPT.

my cycle runs every 20-21 days every month and is like clock works

The best thing to do is wait a few more days and take a test..

I would take a HPT test in a few days. If your pregnancy wasn't detected in urine the second time then I would see a doctor as it may happen again.

For some women pregnancy doesn't show up until 5-7 days after their missed period. If you think you're pregant, make an appointment to see your doctor.

Blood test are truly the best way to determine pregnancy.

i would wait another wk and see what happens then i would make an appoinment with you doctor and have the blood work done or even try another hpt in a wk

now would be good. but you arent due may 8th if you last period started on the 17 that makes you due on the 15th at the earliest
