If you believe that we have a "soul" before we are born (or conceived or whenever you believe that life begins) then we must be spiritual beings who are temporarily human.
But if you believe that first we are created (born, conceived, whatever you believe) and then we develop a soul during life, as we learn moral behaviors for example, then we are human beings who develop a spiritual side.
Sigmund Freud would have believed the latter, as no child is born with morals or a knowledge of God or anything spiritual like that.
But, clearly, there is no right or wrong answer. It depends what you believe.
So your question is B.S. because there is no correct answer, only a matter of opinion or faith, and I can't tell you what you believe.

Either way....God made us to have human bodies but we are spiritual beings inside of our physical bodies. When our physical bodies wear out, our spiritual beings carry on.
