& see y'all not right I know it was some of you all that passed me on Interstate 20 in Texas the other day. Not right; just not right.

Never! I've only stopped once, and that was in high school when my friend and I asked a guy who was hitch-hiking "hey, you need a ride?" When he said yes, I said "You still do"! and we sped off. I would have felt bad but I could see him laughing as we drove away.

I used to... no more.
Just about all the hitchhikers I've ever picked up were nasty and I don't take those kinds of risks anymore since I have a family and kids and they need me more than bums on the side of the road.
That doesn't mean I won't ever pick up hitchhiker, just that the kind I've seen out there are not the kind I'd ever pick up. You rarely see decent people hitchhiking.

Decades ago (the 70's) we used to hitch a ride everywhere. Now, with all the psycho's out there, no one should ever pick up a hitchhiker!

Yes I have picked up hitch hikers .It helps to make a sign that states where you are going.Just be careful because you dont know the intentions either way.Good luck

well Texas is a long way for me to pick up hitchhikers and if i did pick them up it would be here in my hometown where i know the person.
