Off course our choices!!! Thew chance of one winning a lotery ticket would only be possible if one chooses to have one.

All the best...

You do!

The choices you make are based on your experiences, needs and wants - Example: You have a choice between going to the store to buy milk or to stay at home

Chance is the product of your choice - You decide to stay at home and some other event occur, or you go to the store and buy milk. You may be presented with another choice: To buy or not to buy a scratch ticket. You buy a scratch ticket and are a big winner. Your choice has incresed your chances of winning, in fact you won. Had you not gone to the store and further purchased the ticket, your chance of winning would have been zero.

The rate of success/failure is your destiny - Now you are a millionaire. (You could have remained poor...like me)

Have you become a millionaire because of your choices or because it was your destiny?

Destiny and choices may not co-exist as opponents. Destiny infers a specific path, choices and chances infer dynamic paths, thus you may not have destiny and free-will concurrently. You only speak of destiny after the facts!

Consider:
Define destiny
Is destiny a product of free choice?
Can your free choice change your destiny?
Does your destiny make your free choice obsolete?

Great question.

Chances are creating destiny; not the choices.
Because you always used to changing on your choices.
It is a human weakness.

i love destiny questions because i dont think they can ever be answered.

Some responses here say that its your own decisions that shape your destiny, but what if making that decision is or is part of your destiny? surely if you are destined to do something, the way in which you get there is already pre-determined. Although you mind believe your making a consciouse decision, it is still the decision you are destined to make, no? alternatively, how would you know that the decision your making isn't the decision that you are suppose to take?

confusing, right?

You can always rationalize once an event takes place-
that is destiny.

Chances are relatively present that is an event yet to take place hoping to get a chance to grab it.

Choices means relatively a selection process where options
are available for you to grab it that is Future.

I think both decides our destiny. When we get chances we wont have choice and on contrary having many choices we wont have chance and it is rare to have both when it is wanted, but when we get both only we are getting full filled. And that makes our destiny, but for most of the people it is not getting full filled.,because of fate. That is the hidden power to control this.

So if you get any chance, search for good choice at that time and if you get good choice search for any good chance, and execute that before fate blocks you...............

Destiny provides us the opportunity/ possibility. Our perseverance and choices make it materialize or mess it up.

For example, a child born in a well to do family (he/she is born there, by destiny) has the possibility to go for higher education. If he studies hard, it becomes a reality, otherwise he can end up a cobbler ( perseverance and choice).

I think it is a rather complex equation. But in general, you don't have many options. Primary it was dominated by where and when you were born and the environment you were exposed to.

But in general, it is your choice to help steer into the directions. May not be much, but it can make your chance better or worse.

Consider this, it is all relative. But you must make the best out of your situation by your own determination and hard working.

Life isn't fair but you can make it better or worse.

i would agree with answerer bc many people get chances but if you dont take advantage of the opportunity and make the right choice then you might miss your chance to reach your destiny.
