It sounds like almost all of them have been raped or molested by their father.
Is it a fact or a mere attention seeking strategy by some white women?
If it is true is there any research done regarding why some fathers do that?
I said white becuase almost all cases are reported to be so, you can add your own experience white or not or yellow

every time I see a documentary or news of a little girl being mollested, it turns out to be her father...not being racist but again most cases of father - daughter rape case tend to be common among caucassians....

I am a white woman and my father has never molested me. Could it possibly be that it is accepted in other races? Could it be women of other races are tolerant of such behavior?? Could it be women of other races don't want to speak up?? There are many reasons for it....

I understand what you are saying, it seems like every show now is about fathers molesting their daughters when they were young. It seems like when this generation became 30ish, they started having terrible memories of childhood and I guess we just started talking about it more. I can tell you this though, my wife had a great relationship with her Dad and was never abused. I don't really know what was going on back 30 or 40 years ago but it does seem strange. Interesting question.

wow, I cannot say that growing up, I knew of one single girl who had been molested by her father. I was treated like a princess by my Dad.
Later I learned one of my friends was molested by her drunk Gramps. Rumor source said another girl was abused by her Dad and her brother, who sadly is a Doctor now in our area.
I think white women might be more inclined to report. I know that in the Latino culture, it is common, just few reports. I know because a Pastor counseled the majority of a population of a particular city on the matter. According to the COLOR PURPLE...it must have been a huge problem for African Am. women back in the day. I think they may not have that problem in the modern era.

In England. there used to be a high incidence of men 'interfering' (not rape) with young nieces. This generally went unreported and caused no real harm. In recent years psychiatrists, lawyers, social workers and politicians have encouraged witch hunts and brought these events much more to the attention of the public.
Mary Wesley's book, The Camomile Lawn makes some reference to this behaviour and how it is dealt with very informally within the family.

I am white, I was not molested or abused.
I never noticed that this was a predominantly white issue.

And where do you get this from? What is your source? Is it just your bias and prejudice? This sounds racist to me.
