Raise my hand to high five the vet, no matter their opinions, they did their job! I did not last two years there, but neither did General Patton spend two years in the Pacific theater, nor did a lot of vets from every war, many did stateside jobs, every one need and vital to the total military objectives!

First thank you for serving honorably. 2nd i'm sorry you had to flow by way of that. everybody is ignorant and don't understand what our protection tension has to flow by way of to maintain us risk-free here. for each guy or woman who could spit on you there are 10 extra who could shake your hand and say thank you. Hitting her could have been the incorrect ingredient to do. i could have spit returned and then called the police for attack via her, and that i'm very helpful the police could have taken your component. no count what you have long previous by way of consistently undergo in innovations you have been a factor of historic previous and could consistently be a factor of historic previous. Take care.

We should all say thank you for your service to any vet... they are doing the job they are told to do.. one way or another. If we have complaints.. it is on the heads of the government that sent them.. not the soldiers.

My neighbor's son just returned and he said something very much like that. Yes, I of course thanked him for his service to his country.

My childhood friend is serving in the military. I tell him how proud I am of him and his fellow soldiers. He tells me that they need to hear that as often as they can.

Who in the world would say thank you to a vet, but another vet!
Very few! I have a Purple Heart license plate and they never even come near. Maybe I look too old to be an Iraqi veteran!

Its obvious that you aren't in the Military. An actual soldier wouldnt' be on Y!A spouting this crap. My husband has been in Iraq for 3yrs total and he couldnt' disagree with you more.
So my question to you is.....shouldn't you be under a bridge somewhere?

I thank them every day and although I've never been told what you write, I would still thank them for serving their country.
