yeah its high time for them to retire with some dignity otherwise they will lose that too.
look wts happening around them INZi n then LAra.
Mcgraths was a differnt case with far more respect but he also chose to retire his was more like IMran khan.
i dont think the two ve any other choice they will ve to retire or otherwise it will be a forced one coz they r too old to survive till 2011 world cup n India must be planning to rebuild their team with futuristic approach just like all the rest esp considering their debacle in wc.

why do we care if they should retire or not? They play for the money and as long as there is a chance of making any money they won't retire. And why should they retire when people like us keep them in the headlines? Best thing is that we talk about something else. So what you think about Sonia Gandhi? Is she good for the country or just opportunist?

I think they both are fantastic players and have done a lot for the Indian cricket. As we all know one has to go sometime somewhere and I believe this is the right time they both realize that its time to call it a day now. People in sub-continent are emotional and they don't want their beloved players to go early unless they are disgraced and ousted by the selectors. I am honestly of the opinion that these two will not disgrace themselves and will go with honor and grace.

If both of them are confident that they can regain their form, they can continue playing for another 2 or 3 years. However, if they fail to regain their form, they should voluntarrily retire instead of waiting to get dropped.
