She recieved a DUI in january, then got caught driving again on the suspended license a few months later. The judge told her he didn't believe she didn't know her license was suspended..in fact they proved she did by bringing out documents that she initialed stating her license was in fact suspended. Her publicist told her as long as it was work related she could drive,..which she did. So is it fair that she gets 45 days in jail for driving on a suspended license?

well IF she wasn't paris hilton would she have gotten the same sentence?? if the answer is yes then it is a reasonable sentence but if not then no way... I really hate that celebrities can do whatever they want it is like the law doesn't apply to them.... look at britney spears driveing without her son in a car seat and stuff like that if an "average joe" did that their kids whould have been taken from them by CPS... britney is just one example.. there are many more like O.J Simpson and Micheal Jackson..

Under the circumstances, it's perfectly reasonable. I don't care what her publicist told her. Her publicist is not her attorney. If she really wanted to be sure of the status of her situation, she should have asked her attorney.

And all this stuff about "they are only doing this to her because of who she is" is BULL. It's just the opposite. They are treating her case just like they would the average joe in the same shoes. She made her bed, and if she doesn't like lying in it now, too bad.

That is usually the amount people receive driving with a suspended license. Hopefully this snaps her into reality or maybe she should just get a driver if she wants to be a drunken fool.

If her publicist told her that she could sell drugs to school children and she did it, would she be any less responsible for her bad decisions? I think not. She needs a good attorney to explain the law to her, not some silly publicist.

Of course. She's an adult. If she can't determine on her own whether or not her license is suspended, she shouldn't have one.

I hope she screws up again and gets even more jail time. Would serve the self-absorbed bimbo right.

No, it replaced into merely precise. by fact they do no longer many times supply celebrities penal complex time, i'm shocked she have been on condition that lots. yet it relatively is not her first difficulty with the regulation and if she keeps getting away with it she'll keep doing in spite of she needs. with a bit of luck she'll study that no person is relatively above the regulation.

She should have gotten longer. I am sorry just because your an heiress or a celebrity doesn't mean anything. You have to follow the law just like everyone else. Driving under the influence is a serious crime, and she knew the consequences of her actions.

If it is what anyone else would get it is reasonable and good on the judge. Not letting her get away with being a liar. I would have tacked a few more days on for trying to con me.

It's not the fault of the police that Paris is as self-reliant as an infant. She has no common sense and got what she deserved.
