maybe if I was braindead, why would anyone even want a 318i much less one that is so old and worn out? For $7000 I'd go buy a 2005 Hyundai Elantra and kick the crap out of that BMW for many years.

140,000 miles not for 7000 dollars maybe 700 dollars. but saying that bmw engines are very well built and can go onto atleast 200,000 miles. dont pay that much for it though

I wouldn't because you can easily find a 328 with less miles and a larger engine for less money. you can also find a 97 318 with less than 100K for $7k

Absolutely not! Despite what current bmw owners say, it's not dependable by any standards, and they just hate being the only idiot on the block.

no, the miles are way to high to spend that much on it. things are gonna start breaking soon and BMW's are not cheap to fix

What I would recommend you do is got to this website:

http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/default.aspx?linkId=hp_uc_title

You "kelly blue book" your car and it asks you to put in all of the information about your car. Its an awesome site and I used it to see the retail price of my car. But, I think its worth around that price maybe a little bit less.
