* I think that girl bullies, or any bully for that matter does have underlying insecurity issues about themselves. And they are really "sad" on the inside, and bringing others down to their level (how THEY feel) is the only way to make them feel better about themselves. It's sad really.

-I also think that generally when girls pick on other girls it's because they're jealous of something that another girl has, that they don't. Whether it's looks-material things-boyfriend-friends-popularity-personality-etc.

...So I think that girls or boys who bully anyone, are really just sad, lonely, insecure, dependent people who obviously have nothing better to do with their time. Hence why they pick on other kids.

**I think they just need a hug....lol**

...and maybe some counseling.

I think the same of both male and female bullies. They are mean, should get punished, and are (as the other poster said) insecure. I did notice boy bullies are more likely to resort to physical violence then girl bullies. Girl bullies use different tactics. (Desiging a web page with nasty comments about others, pretending somebody wants a date, etc.)

Same as I think of boy bullies...they are insecure people who act tough to mask what's really going on inside. They typically have a group of needy followers, who virtually worship the ground they walk on, and who allow them to be bullies...when alone and stood up to, a bully will typically cave.

Girl Bullies are mean spirit people. In the end they will end up lonely with no friends and love one by their side.

Any kind of bully is just mean...maybe something to do with how theyre were raised or things they were put through as a child make them this way....everyone deserves a fair understanding of why they are the way they are....

I think this group of girls is generally, abused and bullied, or mistreated somewhere in their own life and needs to feel tough and in control. Fear is power, and if people are afraid of you, they have very little chance of seeing your weaker side.

girl bullies, like boy bullies, probably have an unstable family life.

sometimes they're mean to be cool like the mean boys, because they want these mean boys to notice them.

they want to be respected but aren't prepared to earn respect in a worthy manner.

They're horrid creatures who need to be forced into anger management and other self-improvement classes. If people are too afraid to report them, they will stay the way they are...and those around them lose quality of life.

They have issues. I like when girls can stand up for themselves and not be intimidated, but if they are picking on other people or being mean for the sake of being mean, then I have no respect for them.
