Hi All, I have an Intel entry server board set up (s845wd1-e) and its ready to rock and roll, but i need to download the correct etherner controller driver to get my pc/server board to connect to my network. good old device manager is showing those yellow question marks for:

ethernet controller
another ethernet controller
and
PCI simple communications controller

I have searched and searched, intel, forums, but still no luck,
does anyone know what i need and where to find/download?

Help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I just did a search for Intel and your board number and the intel site has the drivers and a lot of other technical data for you.

From your USB Drive double click on each one of the drivers you've downloaded, it will load them to your c drive, it will prompt you to update the driver this is when you can update it follow the instructions and it will find it on your C drive. Good luck and remember to go to your C Drive and burn a copy of the driver files it created when you double clicked on it from your USB Drive that way when you have to reformat it again you have the CD for the missing drivers.
