Purchase a binder/adhesive that will allow the new concrete to adhere to the old surface. Follow the label directions. I would use cement instead of concrete since it contains no rocks. Apply, fill and smooth surface.

Im assuming it is not a huge hole, so I recommend buying the cement they sell now already mixed in a container. If it is large , you will have to get the regu lar cement which is also easy to prepare with directions of how much water to add. Spread the cement into the hole, and with a trowel smooth it out . good luck bettyk

Buy a small bag of Quick cement or Sakrete, follow directions, & you're all set. Don't forget to mark the area with flags or rag strips on string, etc. so as to keep people from walking on it.

quickcrete with concrete glue if it's a small area. or you might get a bag of cement mix (or more). and if there is no rebar, you can always put in a short one to help strengthen the poured concrete if it's going to have weight put on it or is a large area. Would help prevent breaking up in the future.
