Most any library will have books on all of the United States. You can also find Tenn. History online. Below is a search that you can click on, then look at the web sites found by the search. That should take a lot of time - there as tons of information.

One good source to start with is the Tennessee Encyclopedia of History and Culture. If you are really into the topic and are not in Tennessee you might have to use Interlibrary Loan at your local library, from which you could get all kinds of materials.
