Since there is a long gap before the World Cup 2011 starts as no one knows at this stage which willbe the players representing each team and also what will be their form at that stage, no one can precisely predict the winners at this stage. I do not feel giving any wild prediction.

Chances are that India will win the 2011 world cup for the reason that they will get home-crowd support. The other team is our obvious choice: Australia!
The 2011 Cricket World Cup will be the tenth time this tournament has been held, and will be held in the four Asian Test cricket playing countries Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The World Cup will be held during the months of February and March 2011.

its too early to comment on it
noone knows who will win the world cup 2011
i guess for you to get a precise answer i suggest u wait till the next world cup and u will find out who will be the champ
just like some people back in 2003 were curious about the winners of 2007 world cup
so now the picture is clear who is the winner of 2007 world cup
hence in the same way u should wait 4 yrs n the picture will be clear

Who can tell? My friend it is interesting to speculate, but that is all it is. Speculation. So many players will have retired and their replacements may be wonderful or woeful! However, as Australia has the stongest domestic system I think they will be up there. Also because it will be played on the sub continent, those teams should have a good chance too. Especially India (if they can clear out the deadwood and corruption),due to the home ground advantage.
Lets hope its an exciting tournament with close games and no controversy!
Cheers :-)

4 years are a very long time in cricket and you are already asking the 2011 winner. I think it is very difficult to nominate a team at this juncture but the way the Australians are playing at the moment if they continue to play like this then who knows 2011 and even 2015 to make it five on the trot.

There is no point in predicting at this point of time when one world cup has just ended.Let everything sink in.Just wait for 6 months or a yr.And then answers will start pouring in
