It would help, but the bigger problem is getting people to use these methods CORRECTLY. I don't know how many people I've heard who think it's okay to have sex a little and then put on a condom before ejaculation, or skip pills, or take out their ring, or use the so-called "pull-out" method (which isn't a method at all). And people who absolutely, positively can't have children should be using two methods of birth control.
That said, I am very pro-choice, and I also recognize that there are times when a very responsible person may become pregnant and later abort, for reasons such as severe health concerns. And it's not like a woman has a choice to use birth control when raped.

No there wouldn't be as many but we could only hope that people would start using the brain they were given and use birth control. If you are not responsible enough to have a baby then you are not mature enough to have sex without some form of birth control.
