there is nothing wrong with consumerism.

the problem is how it's financed.

if people are buying stuff on credit cards that always end up at 22.9% interest rates, then what direction are we really heading in and if people can't afford to buy what they want and need with the money in their bank accounts, then what does that really say about the state of our economy...

yes, we never seem to have enough...or the right kind of whatever. we would all do well by enjoying what we have and keep some money in the bank.
