Read the postings at the local unemployment office. You shouldn't have to apply just to see the list. Employment agencies, or temp services are also a good method.

Check the yellow pages for employment agencies. Apply at 3 to 5 agencies and you will be employed in a week. I know because I work at an agency and I place some people same day. Write me if you are local in S. CA and I will personally find you a job. R
