Kudos for making a good decision France! But French jokes are like Aggie jokes, they don't need to be true to be funny.

"the French are the ones that are making fun of us. They were the ones that were SMART enough to stay out of Iraq. "

My guess is you have a low self esteem... but that's just a guess

There's no wrong time you can start getting things ready when ever in the pregnancy. You should start now then you know that you'l have everything ready for your baby when you do go into labour and you can enjoy the last few weeks relaxing and not having to get stressed about the room. You don't know if you'll go early or not but if you did at least the baby's things would be done, i know someone who hadn't started getting their baby's room done until she was 35 weeks and went into labour early and nothing was ready not even the hospital bag and she didn't have the moses basket or the cot ready for him. It's better to be prepared because know one knows when they are gonna go into labour.

Yes! As someone with French ancestry I love french jokes too. I am open minded enough to know that jokes can be funny because they point out the silliness of stereotypes. I find many jokes about race or ethnicity or religion or hair color funny---as long as they're told in a manner that MOCKS THE STEREOTYPE and not the race or religion...........joke away my friend. I won't be offended!

With a Conservative at the helm of France, the jokes might have a kind of nostalgic feel to them, but heck no!...... I'm not willing to give up my French jokes. I don't even know the best ones yet. (pleae email me, anyone!)

An American tank has four gears, and so does the French model, so what's the difference? The French tank uses three of the gears for reverse!

What do you call a person in France who bathes regularly? A tourist!

It's as OK as making fun of USA or any other country. As long as you have a sense of humor. Good jokes are fine, but some jokes are just plain stupid.

Just because he's called conservative in France doesn't mean he's not a liberal in the US. So that means, yes it's fine to make fun of them. Canada too.

All you have to do is tell the unvarnished truth about France, and you've got a French joke!

HA! 'weakminded', the bloody French have been sh*tting on the rest of the world for as long as it has existed. If anyone is weakminded it is the damn French.
