All is too general. Some people due to ill health, accident etc are dying. Most are living. Aging is not dying, it is simply a part of life. Death is not a part of life, it is the end of life. Dying is what takes place when we can no longer sustain life, for whatever reason.

spiritually we are living, In a biological sense we have all started to die ever since the day we were born. Living is what we do in between the critical stages of conception and death but our body never reaches a homeostasis and we are continually dying and trying to avoid the only thing that every single living thing must one day do.....die.

I think it's different for different people. The people who take chances and live like tomorrow could be their last day are actually living. The people who don't take the chances and put things off are dying.

From the moment we are born, we begin to die, so it is important to live everyday as if it were our last because for all we know it may be. Don't believe me?

Watch the news on any given night and see dozens of people who didn't think so either, but were just as wrong in the end.

When I awoke this morning I was living. Now that I have been on my feet all day I hope I'm dying so my back and legs won't hurt anymore.

Are you studying Aurelius? He wrote: "The act of dying is one of the acts of life"

For some, death is a new beginning. This theme, of course, is prominent in the world's religions, and can explain why religion can be so attractive. Something my mother once told me about my Grandfather has stuck with me. She described how he had never practiced religion in any way. However, he prayed fervently while on his death bed, for the passage into "heaven".
To me death is the end of a passage that began the moment we are conceived. I view "life"as a start-to-finish proposition. I hold to this because when I think of the brevity of this passage, it spurs me to be less prone to take things for granted. That becomes my source for joy and gives me a sense of thankfulness. I would agree that from start to finish we are doing both.

The answer would be both. The moment we come into the this world we are regenerating cells at a constant pace. Philosophically? That would depend on what kind of day I am having. :)

right now i am living...the day i will lose all faith and trust...the day i will lose the desire to love....the day i will stop caring, being silly, being 'myself'...i will start dying...
and i hope that day won't come...
i hope i will live after i die...in the minds and in the hearts of ppl who will remember me.
in short we are living..and we will live even after we die...in memories...
(living each day is better than dying each day)

wasn't that too philosophical ?
;)
