The number is broken up into two parts the three will be the 3 back (hb,fb,wr,qb depending on the coaches set up) the 6 is the whole in which the play is going to ( each shoulder of an olineman is a whole, starting at the right center is 0 and moves by two to the right (2,4,6,8) so 6 would be outside shoulder of the tackle, on the left it starts with 1 and moves by two each whole (1,3,5,7,9) wings trips is the formation type (trips is triple position players on one side and wings means that there is a wing (a player lined up outside shoulder of Tightend or Tackle and back about a yard or two) to the trips side. so a 36 wings trips would be a run play to the three back to the 6 whole in the wings trips formation. Damn im Good!

Play action= fake hand off or pitch
HB draw= delayed hand off
QB draw= see above
Receiver Option= receiver chooses one of a couple routes to run
Blitz=extra position rushes the offensive line
Cover 2= safeties cover zone cover behind corners
Zone Cover= a player covers a certain area
Reverse= WR comes around the QB then takes the hand off the other way.

I'm guessing you mean
going deep-run straight, far and fast
out pattern-go about 10 yards and then turn towards the nearest sideline
curl-run about 10 yards and turn back to the ball
Fade-run towards the back corner of the endzone. The ball will already be n the air before you turn to look.
Post-run towards the middle of the endzone (goalpost)
In-see Out but instead, run in towards the middle of the field
Hail Mary-all receivers run into a pile in the end zone and try to grab the ball. There is no intended target, just a toss up and pray.

each team will run a different type of offense and have different plays for that scheme. numbers in plays often mean different things, such as which rb the ball goes to, which "hole" along the o-line the rb runs through, how many step drop the qb will be taking, which routes the recievers will be running. It all depends. You learn the playbook as part of practice.

sounds like specific terminology per a coaches playbook....that will be taught to you...coaches in High School are just looking in terms of your ability to catch, or hit, or just to see what you have athletically...
