No one, not woman or man should sit on the hood of a car.

If any person was sitting on the hood of a car getting off the hood ornament then yes it would leave them open for a good hood ornament joke.

If the car is structurally unsound and added weight may damage the vehicle further then, use judgment and err on the side of caution.

If the car is stable then who cares if you sit on the hood or not, what's wrong with a person who wants to sit on the hood? Does it matter woman/man? Does it matter obese, or skinny? It's a car it has suspensions it is suppose to usually support the weight of four individuals. Unless you weight more than the car an obese person has every right to sit on the hood of a car.

Not to sound obnoxious (especially since I am an overweight woman), but if she does sit on the hood of car...she should do it gently as possible or not at all, because she could leave a dent.

Also, I think she's not left wide open for a joke unless of course she does leave a dent on the hood.

I think that the best and the safest thing to do is not to let them sit on the hood of a car.

The cars are made so cheap and the metal is so thin even a child should not sit on the hood of a car.

sure, if you wouldn't mind having to replace the hood. Oh and the best part will be trying to get the over weight woman to pay for the damages..

Did you know that any one that weighs over 7 lbs of what they are suppost to are overweight and so your question is a little why is that people who think they are perfect because they are skinny leave no room for improvement.
I think there are things that overweight people should not do because of the rudeness of skinny people
