Fall is an informal name for Autumn. And nobody wants an informal name. There are some corky differences between American English and british english. For example clubs or discos, discos can mean something else in american english like something out of the 70s. I live in U.S but I have been around the world and most of the countries use british type of english in africa, asia, middle east and australia, even the canadians use british accents when they speak english.

Besides, Im sure she thought about that all her life. This clearly defines why anybody should name their kids they would like to appreciate. Believe me, I have a hard name, and I have to deal with that when I'm on the phone, or trying to introduce myself.

Her parents who named her might not have been American... besides, many Americans use "autumn" instead of "fall."

They also use the word autumn for the season. You have to admit that calling herself "Fall Reeser" would not have much zing to it.
