It might be because i have a really cheap one but still i always miss loads of hairs when i use my elctric shaver but when i have a wet shave it works perfectly. Is this the same for everyone or just me?

An electric shaver works fine if you use it every day, but most electric shavers won't cut long hair. I like the Remington electric shavers. The triple-head shavers work the best. Remington has the new triple-head shavers with blades that are coated with titanium. You only have to replace the blades once every year. I still like to shave with a Gillette Mach3 razor too. An electric shaver is very handy if you accidentally run out of shaving cream, or the blades for your razor are too dull to shave with.

.

In general, you get better results from the electric
if you shave twice a day. That may sound kind
of a drag, but after awhile it takes less time to
shave when you shave because your face is
conditioned to the electric. Using the Williams'
pre-shave helps(yeah its expensive).

Sometimes, though a guy has to go back to
the blade and the cream. If you have a black
beard you might end up doing that, but try
shaving twice every day with the electric.

My Husband has used them for years. But you do have to buy new blades when they stop working well.

Write the name brand and model. Most stores like Walmart or Kmart sell the new blades. They are between 25 and 30 dollars.

Do you take yours apart and clean it regularly?? That makes a huge difference.
