Seriously, why would anyone want to hang out the flag? All this rabid patriosm is a sign of deep insecurity in my opinion.
Amercia is like my mother, refuses to accept she's wrong. You'd rather be right than happy.

I fly a flag because I have friends and family serving. In fact, my family has served in almost every single war America has fought from the beginning. I am very proud of my country and of our military. If that makes me guilty of "rabid patriotism", no problem. But I think the insecurity is *yours*.

I don't put out my Confederate Flag. I just keep it rolled up inside the house. Now my US Flag flies without such restrictions.

It makes you just a regular person... one who does not want a flag hanging in his yard. it is not unpatriotic not to have a flag shown. Anyone who tells you different is simply ignorant.
