Go to City Market.
Eat at Love's(seafood) or Sushi Time Towa.
Everybody says "eat at Lady and Sons", I like Mrs. Wilke's on Jones Street.
And of course, there is the architecture. We have one of the largest Historic districts in the nation.(General Sherman left Savannah alone!)
There are some good restaurants on River Street, but for the most part it's a tourist trap.
Shopping is no big deal here. A lot of people go to Atlanta to shop.
Savannah is a party town. We like to drink.
Don't venture past Bull Street and Habersham Street at night.
Have fun and welcome to Savannah!

I used to live in Savannah! It's beautiful and tons of stuff to do! Def go to River Street and spend a day and the evening...lots of bars, restaraunts, shops, etc. And go to Baldino's~it's a sub shop that is AWESOME!!! Not sure if it's still open or not but a great Japenese place to eat is Musashi's (sp). It's just one beautiful city!!! Enjoy!!
