I'm not talking about a pinch that goes away. I am talking about it feeling like a "nerve" has been pinched, which can be felt outside the body on the surface of the pelvis, and radiates down the left front leg. Doesn't go away for some time. Am afraid of getting anymore cervical biopsies. Happens every time.

UPDATE: Have already asked doctors who have no explanation. Looking for someone who has heard. THANKS FOR RESPONSES ABOUT THAT, ANYWAY. SMILE SMILE

I have had it happen after having a biopsy done of my vaginal area and unfortunately it also made me feel like I had just been in the hospital OR although I wasn't. The reason this occurred is because of how sensitive my body is to pain. I have a very low pain threshold.

It sounds like you may be more sensitive to the procedure than most people.

As for pap smear the screening test to make sure someone doesn't have cervical cancer that should not hurt and if it does something is definitely wrong. I would recommend getting a second opinion but preferably from someone that does not share the same office as the dr that you currently see.

I had a cervical biopsy, the pain I felt was insane! I thought I was going to go through the exam table! I cried and thought I was going to faint coming off the elevator. It felt like a knife had sliced my cervix. I drove home in pain and cried all the way. The pain didn't subside until the pain pill I got from the emergency room a few days earlier kicked in. I will never have that done again, I'll die first!
