I don't know who first said it.
There was an American TV show in the 70's called"Sanford and Son"
It was about an old black junkman living in Watts,Los Angeles,California with his middle aged son LaMont.This was an american version of "Steptoe and Son"
One of Fred Sanford's friends "Grady" used to say that.
