Paris Hilton has tons of money, but is still going to prison for 45 days. All her money and expensive lawyers didn't do her any good. Do any of you still believe there is one law for the rich and one law for the poor?

Yes she does because now she is blaming other people for her problems. I still think there is a difference in the law for rich and poor.

I think she thinks that because she is Paris Hilton, the judge was going to slap her with "time served"
and that would be it. But, she pissed the judge off and gave her a 45 day sentence. Is she going to serve the actual 45 days? No, probably not. She may sit in a jail for some 4-6 hours and then they may release her. It would be something if, before she actually gets senteced, she commits another crime. Being behind the wheel, drunk. Hitting a pole with her car-or, leaving and taking a flight out of the country to go to some club she got paid for to have her boney a-ss appear for hundreds and thousands of dollars for no apparent reason at all.
Then, she can get MORE jail time. That would actually be great. I am now anticipating to break more rules and the law. She is that f-ucking stupid to get to this level, her stupidity may land her more time. Can't wait for her to be somebody's b=itch in the joint! She'll end up getting a black eye, yeast infection for being forced to eating some tough lesbian out and end up with VD. Gives a whole new reason for the phrase "Paris is burning".

i believe there is two different laws one for the rich and one for the poor and the rich know that and thats why they do what they want the believe their money and lawyers will get them out of trouble 45 days is nothing compared to what the average person would have gotten although i am surprised she got that the judge must have been sick of her, she probably will get off doing less time than that

Without a doubt. If that had been you in court you would be asking this question from your jail cell.
She is going to appeal. So let's wait and see.
Also 45 days is light for what she has for a rap sheet.

Well, apparently not any more ~ she just got 45 days in jail. Thank God! This spoiled brad should get her a** to work as well. I only feel sorry for her parents.

I know. I think she should go to jail in order for her to learn a lesson. She really needs some discipline in her life. If she accomplishes that petition, and the governor gives her a pardon, I swear...that will show you how people are really stupid. Seriously. Peace!

It's just California making up for letting OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson get away.

Hell yeah its wrong that how much money you have can have an effect on your rights. Look at Wacko Jacko he should be in prison but hes not.

Yes, it's all about who can buy the best lawyer, that's what usually saves you.

There is. They are putting her somewhere special. Its not right. She needs to experience what anyone else would. THATS what will teach her a lesson.*
