memories are just folds and cell patterns.. so .. though I'm no specialist.. I would say yes.. until the cells break down. It doesn't take them very long to break down however. that's not to say a person thinks after they are dead.. there are no electrical pulses.. nothing going on... I'm just saying that with some hi-tech si-fi type stuff one day memories may be able to be retrieved by computers and sensors for a very short period after death.

I'd say yes because of the fact that the brain is a very complex organ in the human and animal body.

no. when a pesron dies his brain stops functioning.
