That was a rude comment about affirmative action...but to answer your question, the GPA requirements can be found on www.collegeboard.com. They give you lots of information regarding schools, such as campus size, graduation percentage, and GPA requirements. Just to let you know, if your GPA isn't exactly what they're looking for, colleges will also look to your essay, you extra-curricular activities, and anything else you inform them of that might prove to be an asset to their college. For example, I was wait listed for Brown even though I had a GPA of 3.7 and an SAT score that was below what they were looking for. They wait listed me because I had musical talent, was currently in the process of publishing a book, and because I had been involved in numerous clubs and volunteer opportunities. My essay also had a unique flair that sparked their interest. In the end, I decided to go somewhere more affordable, but don't just let the GPA requirements discourage you. I'm sure you have plenty more to offer John Hopkins!

Schools don't publish minimum GPA or SAT scores. However, Princeton Review's web site has a lot of information on statistics of those who attend various universities.

For Johns Hopkins, the average GPA is 3.69. 75% of those admited have an SAT of 1960 or better.

If you're white it's very high. If you are black or hispanic it doesn't really matter.
