If it is pure grass it is as good as a whole pharmacy. It helps thousand of conditions. If tobacco is organic it has value as a medicine and as incense so it is good for you, but a joint of grass is as good for you as a pack of organic cigarettes. It's the additives and processing in tobacco and drugs that are bad for you. In plant form they're not bad for you. it depends how you use them. Smoking anything is bad for your lungs, with grass you don't use a filter, that's why it's said to be as bad as a pack of cigarettes. However the thousand chemicals added to cigarettes is what's unhealthy and addictive. You can take grass in food or in a vapouriser if you're worried about your lungs.

Intent is important when using sacred plants like Mary Jane. If you use it for recreational purposes you get recreational results. If you use it for a spiritual purposes you get a spiritual result. If you use it for philosophical, mind-expanding purposes you get a philosophical, mind-expanding result. If you use it for medicinal purposes you get a medicinal result. no, however the reason marijuana is illegal and not cigarettes is because the drug alters your perception of reality were cigarettes just pollute your lungs. the government feels that a person can not function on the drug because it is known to have effects much like alcohol, slowed reactions, blurred vision, lack of attention and concentration. there is no way the government can regulate the drug properly so they don't legalize it

Marijuana as you put it is just as bad if not worse for you than ciggs. b/c mari. is a plant dont make it good for you stop and think aobut it cigs. or should i say tabaco is from a plant and its not good for you posion ivy is a plant and its not nice either. ontop of all that mari. can be and usually is laced with something other than plain mari. + they have a thing called THC or somethin like that thats in mar. as well. So end of myth its fact deal with it.

apparently marijuana is 1.5 times more carciogenic than tobacco , I had a book about it years ago about some american professor growing weed for medical uses and how they had to grow a stable variety and they chemically analized it .
