Scatter some moth balls around the edges of your garden. The smell will keep the cats away. You won't have to worry about your cats accidentally eating them as the smell will keep them away. Reapply as necessary as watering/rain will slowly dissolve them. I use this procedure to keep deer away from my young trees and other critters, like skunks, out of my yard, and it really works great. Good luck to you.

I have not any answer, I merely like the question and solutions. relatively I also have a sort of answer. I had an MGB roadster some time past, and a few cat used to **** in the massive vents that are merely below the windshield. no person likes the scent of cat urine, particularly me who's no fan of cats. (canines i admire!) i offered some cat repellent on the farm keep stapled an previous cotton towel rag on a small a million"x3" and could spray the cat repellent on the rag and could place the rag on suitable of the vent when I parked. That labored. i'm going to have merely made a cover for the vent, yet then the cat could have nonetheless been hiking up on the hood to nap on it, by fact it replaced into heat. The stinky rag stored the cat off my hood thoroughly.

Some recommendations:

If they're burying the poop, lay chicken wire over the top of the beds. If they can't dig into the soil, they're less likely to use it as a litter box.

Cats are lazy. Easier to dig in loose soil. I use pinecones in my potted plants and also sprinkle cheap (Dollar Store) cayanne pepper on the area. Plastic forks (tines up) pushed into the ground also make the area less favorable to cats.
