Not easily. Unfortunately a TIFF file is a "picture" of the original document. There is no easy way to get the words back out of the picture. You could try an OCR (Optical Character Recognizion) program - they come free with most scanners. But usually the results of such a scanning require so much touch up that it is just as quick to retype the information.

It calls OCR (Optical Character Reading) System. There are some software available to do it. If you have a scanner you should have it.

Most frequently used OCR Software is ABBY Fine Reader.

They Specially converts Texts, tables etc in their respective formats.
