The all of the outlets on one side of my bedroom do not work, also the overhead light doesn't work. The outlet in my bathroom does'nt work, but the overhead light and exhaust fan do. The outlet in my sons bathroom on the other end of the house went at the same time. We have checked the circuit breaker nothings thrown and we tested all of the circuits. The outlet in my bathroom had a reset button which was blown (we couldn't reset it) we bought a new one and installed it. We still have no power since fixing that. The outlet in my sons bathroom doesn't have a reset button. There is the possibility that he got water in the outlet, but I don't think so. I don't know how the trailer is wired. There are no diagrams and it seems to be wired really weird (the things hooked up to a circuit are all over the place). Also the circuit breaker isn't really labelled well,. We don't have the money to hire an electrician and our landlord refuses to get it fixed. So any help's appreciated.

Check for more GFCI outlets. It may not be anywhere near the rooms that have no power. I have seen them installed in attached garages which makes no sense but it happens. Also check the breakers again for a GFCI type with a reset. Try turning off breakers one at a time and then turn them back on. Sometimes they don't look tripped but are and must be flipped off and then back on.

You have a short somewhere on that line.Try this on all the outlets that don't work with the power turned off take the outlet the farthest away from the breaker out or the outlet you suspect out an disconnect it an put wire nuts on it.Turn the power an breaker back on.If there has been a short it could have burnt the ground wire on that line so look at them closely inside the breaker box. They may still appear to be hooked up but be brittle an burnt an not making a connection. There should be a neuatral bar and a ground bar in your breaker box.Thats probably where the problem is but you need to find the outlet that caused the short or it may just do it over again. If you suspect he got one wet I would remove it put wire nuts on it,fix the burnt end on the ground wire in the breaker box.Cut off the burnt end an put it back in the ground bar with a screw driver. If its to short you can use a small piece of wire an attach it with a wire nut. Please be sure to turn off all the power before you do any of this. You should see the burnt end of the wire in the ground bar it will have to be fixed before you will get power to the line again. You will still need to replace or remove the outlet that caused it or it will just do it again.Good luck and be careful its realativly easy but can always be dangerous when your working with electricity.I hope this helps.

Some times, the hard wire outlets, may be the cause. sinse the hard wire, is pushed in to the back of the switch or out let, it has to audibly click, telling the installer, the instalation is correctly done.

There is a possability, that the instalaltion, ware there is no power, may have been done in a hurry. the wires may have not been installed the right way, and some of them, may have poped back out. I can only guess, and recomend an electricial may be the best way to go.
Yes they are ecpensive. So is getting your life back togeather after a nasty fire.

Turn off all of the breakers for at least 30 seconds then turn them all back on. Turning them all of should give them enough time to re-cycle. It's worth a shot-
