Listen to what the massage therapist had to say...painful arches in the morning is a clear sign of plantar fascitis in the early stages. Get on top of this before it becomes painful for more than the first few minutes of the morning. I would also recommend stretching your plantar fascia by putting your toes up against a wall with your feet flat and holding 30 seconds. Also icing by taking a plastic water bottle and filling it 3/4 with water and freezing it, then roll your foot on that for 5 mins at the end of the day to decrease the inflammation. If all this doesn't help then seek medical attention before it gets too bad.

I have a right foot that does that to me they took xrays and said its a bone spur. You can get gel heel cups for your shoes.. but I know it hurts first thing in the morning and then is fine the rest of the day or if I sit too long at the computer it will hurt. They can do surgery but its a calcium deposit and it can come back.. so you can live with it I have for about 6 months now. Just exercise your foot a bit before you put weight on it.

It might be spurs.. have the doctor take an xray.. sometimes they can remove them but mostly you just get some good cushions for your shoes. I got the same thing after a few minutes I am fine.. its just in the right heel. But it really makes you feel weird for a few minutes.

Sounds like Plantar Fascitis. Its when the fascia inflames and tightens on the bottom of your foot, restricting movement and making it painful. Try rolling your feet on a golf ball to loosen it up, or do self massage in the morning. Heat works well to soften the fascia, too.

You need arch support in your shoes. Go to a podiatrist and get checked out. This will also help with any leg bum or back pain you may feel at time to time. You need to be realigned and then you will not feel a thing. :)

Sore feet could be an indication of diabetes. If you have a family history or feel you may be at risk, have your doctor check blood levels.

my mum kept telling me not to stand up straightly after i woke up. she told me not to 'surprise' the muscles and let it relaxed for a moment. what i do is, after i woke up, i sit on my bed for a few minutes then slowly stand up. i hope this helps :)
