I would not do it for Mother's Day. Maybe it would be better to do it for the anniversary of his memorial, or the anniversary of his passing.

tad on the edge of morbid, I'd give her a framed pictured of your son, let her grieve in her own way, why not offer to go to the grave with her and place your rose on his grave, ohh, and don't let your son run all over the grave, promise, its hurts the loved one standing there seeing it for the first time

It's morbid. Iwould just get a cute picture of your son taken at Walmart or something and give her that.

Why not find a pic of your grandfather and find someone to combine (I don't know the 'technical' term) that with a pic of your son...like they actually took the pic together.

Just go with a nice picture of your son. I wouldn't want a picture of my father's grave in my house.
