My fiance's ex-wife & soon to be husband will not let his daughter speak about him nor anyone in his family at their home. The daughter is very close to her grandparents & it hurts her not to get to talk about them. Also the mom nor her fellow will talk to my fiance at all. The daughter has expressed a get deal ao dilike for the new beau. We only have a 45min window to call her a day. We used to get to have the daughter's little brother and sister on some weekends and also could get the daughter any time. We have gotten the sibs for 5 years. now we can not have any contact with the sibs and can only have the daughter on the 1st & 3rd weekends. She is going strictly by the divorce papers, that she has never gone by before. The mom has changed a lot since she got w/ this guy her 4 marriage. She's 27 & he's 19 and he seems to be running the show, but when I try to step in and say something she keeps Baylee away from us. My fiance pays his child support. can we do anything?

That is so sad, It's terrible when adults put kids in the middle like a rope in a tug of war....hearts are capable of loving many yet some feel that if they do it takes away from them so they alienate sources in whatever manner necessary to fit them...I agree..... He should go back to court and fight for the right to see his child...if he feels the child maybe experiencing harm have child protective services to investigate.....maybe the dislike is deeper than you think on the new beau kids sometimes pull away for a reason.....In this world of pedifiles and psycho's you can never be too careful....God Bless and good luck!

Go back to court and get the visitation changed. Also you can have the court to order her to allow phone calls and contact.
If she fails to comply, then she can be held in contempt of court and jailed or fined.
I know that seems drastic, but in order to do what is best for the children, it is best to let the family courts handle that.

Depending on the ages of the children as well, they may even be able to have a say in the court. In most states it is 12... I am not sure about where you are.
Good luck.

I'm just shocked a 27 year old woman would marry a 19 year old kid. You all can take her back to court to modify the custody papers maybe...ask for more visitation rights. I'm also shocked that 19 year old kid would care about having another man's child around. Make sure he's not abusing her in some fashion. This is just doesn't sound healthy.

Get an attorney, go back to family court and get whatever is in the best interest of the child. I would be leary of a 19 year old that is "running the show" . Maybe file for full or joint custody. Good luck.

Consult a lawyer and fight for custody. The new guy seems to be controlling and that can be dangerous. This is just the beginning. Pretty soon he won't want anything to do with you. He's young and obviously thinks he can run the show. Definitely see a lawyer ASAP!

Consult an attorney regarding changing or enforcing the visitation order.

If this wasn't in the original or modified divorce decree, then NO they can't control the children as if they are pawns to hurt you.

Sadly, if the ex wife is following the divorce papers by the letter you can't do much of anything.

nope...as long as she is abiding my the divorce decree she is doing nothing wrong...u need to stay out of this...it is not your battle...if fiance wants to change the divorce decree or abtain custody or shared custody..that is up to him and a court of law.

You can't do anything but your boyfriend can go back to family court.
