How can I remove a concrete swimming pool in rockland county?

When we had ours removed it was a matter of breaking up the concrete and filling it in. The concrete was broken up as small as possible and left in the ground. Fill dirt was brought in and the hole was filled. A couple more trips of fill dirt were required to get the ground level and then we sodded it. It wasn't cheap to do, but it was less expensive than maintaining the pool for the next 10 years. You need to find a contractor who specializes in pool removal.

I dont know about ROckland county.. but where we live, people that do not want a pool anymore drain theirs and have them filled it.. good luck
