My guess would be the 1937 3-legged buffalo nickel.

OLD doesnt make a coin valuable, it only contributes. RARITY is what matters, and condition next.

Probably the original coins used around the revolutionary war also would be most valuable.

I believe the 1933 double eagle ($20 gold coin) has it for now. In July 2002 it sold for $7,590,020 at a Sotheby's/Stacks auction. It is the only 1933 $20 gold piece that is legal to own. In Coin World a 1913 liberty head nickel just changed hands on April 25th for $5,175,000. Now if an 1804 silver dollar should go up for bid, maybe these records might be broken. There are other rarities out there that have not be up for sale for many years, on time will tell if one will go for 8 million or so. Hope this answers your question.
