He is a Yellow Lab Cichlid (it may help to look up a picture)... he's bright yellow with some black and white on his top and bottom fins. He's a pretty active (hyper?) tropical fish who's very curious and likes to play with his food.

I brought home a powder blue dwarf gourami on Saturday and sister was trying to help me pick out a name for him. Among other suggestions was Spike. That made me laugh. I half expected her to say Butch next. Just a couple of thoughts...
