Does Graphics card- VIA Chrome9 HC IGP WDDM have Shader Model 3.0 support?

I want Spiderman 3 PC game to play but I think i need a new graphics card.

It is said to support DirectX 9 but it is not clear that it is DirectX 9.0c which provides Pixel Shader 3.0. The graphics might also be slow for games.

sorry mate,the via-chrome 9 does not support pixel and shader model 3.0,however it does support pixel and shader model 2.0 which itself is adequate for most games,it also enough to run the vista aero 3d for when you need to upgrade your os
a very good budget card with pixel and shader model 3.0 is the nvidia geforce 6200(http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=555356),this is a excellent card,obviously for the price you are not going to get lightning fast clock speeds but its powerful enough for most games
i used to have this card before i upgraded to a nvidia geforce 6600(http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=555358)and it was possible to run modern games at medium detail at resolutions of 800x600 / 1024x768 / 1280x1024
frame rates were pretty good too..................
