off during lovemaking? Also, do you like your partner to talk to you while making love? Does any of this make a difference? Why?

I prefer both off and on =) we do talk, it enhances communication on our deepest thoughts and how we really feel about one another =) it also makes our lovemaking so much more intimate.

Lights on or off.....Whatever they are when we start, they are left like that. If you have been with a partner for a long time it doesn't matter. If you feel good about yourself naked and sexually it probably doesn't matter. I don't really like to talk (dirty or not) during sex, but my husband always has something to say or ask me and in the middle of it, I usually don't respond. It seems stupid to me to talk, because there are things going on that takes focus(if you want it good). I think that talking is really just a distraction to make it last longer. Maybe the people that talk during have pretty dull sex. Not speaking from experience, but it seems like that would be the reason for talking. If it is dirty sex talk then why not talk, but if you mean like talk kind-of talk then that just seems stupid to me. It makes a difference to me, because I would just rather focus on having the best sex possible that time, not making small talk, because small talk can happen any time of the day. Not saying that sex can't either, but when your married and have kids it is hard to find time.

I like to have a variety depending on mood. Sometimes it's all about being romantic, soft, and sweet. Other times, it's about being playful. You get the picture.

Women tend to be mental rather than physical about sex (though there ARE exceptions), so it's all about whatever she needs to "get in the zone".

Hope this helps.
