computer have greatly affected our society.
1. In away that now days, you don't need to write any hand written letter if you want to send a message, you just have to connect to internet then send the message. this leaves no memory of what some one wrote to you compared to letters which you can refer to any time.
2. computer have proved a threat to national and international security. this is by sending messages which are some time against the government, which has affected society.
3. Computer have also caused too much unemplyment mostly to developing world where people are not well versed with computers. Bosses are now replacing people with computers which leaves out most people unemployed, this has also affected society.
4. Computer have also caused health problems like eye problems any stress. this has also affected society.
5. some people have even forgotten how to write well using there hands due to over use of computers. this has also affected society.

However, computers have also helped society through:

1. e-commerce. where people perforn business activities through the computer by help of internet.
2. Built relationships both national and international. through the exchange of messages with the out side world.
3. Research. articles and directories which have helped people are mostly got from the internet aided by search engines like google and others. computer have made research easy.
4. Keeping of document and file. computer have acted has data banks through the saving of files, documents and data to them.
computer have also helped in editing work, typing, modifying office documents with the help of softwares. microsoft office has helped much in this.
5. Running organisations. Most computer soft wares are used to run organisation work which has led to high profits and time maintainace.
There are many uses of computer . Computer have greatly affected the world in which we leave today.

We no longer have personal and intimate relationships with each other.
We now base ourselves to the keyboard and push "SEND"


For people like me it's a good thing,
I'm a retired senior citizen and keeping in touch with a family spread out across the US and the world is much easier, and faster than writing a letter.
