You can buy a tap adaptor from most diy stores that allows you to clamp it over the tap and then attach the garden hose.
Make sure you use the rubber seal, so you don't get a leak or spray from the tap

Try any store that sells waterbed fill/drain kits. These have an adapter that is made to connect to the sink tap after removing the aerator from the spout.

its fairly simple first you must take off the end of your spout with a pair off pliers by turning counterclockwise then go to your nearest hardware store and ask for the adaptor to switch your facet over to a garden hose usually a 1/2 fitting

go to b+q they have all the ones you could need.you need to ask for tap connectors.all you have to do is remember what the end of your tap looks like and you will be able to select the connector you need.
