I live in NZ and we drive on the left side of the road here. Our cars are right hand drive. In our cars the accelerator is on the right and clutch left with the break in the middle. Is it the same for left hand drive cars or the other way around...I was just wonderin....please let me know, i've always wondered!

Accelerator, Brake, Clutch ( ABC) are arranged in the same pattern in all the automobiles. These are the controls you should be using on reflex - Just imagine howmany times you intentionally depressed your clutch pedal before changing gears!! In all the countries with a British influence, driving is on the left side of the road and you sit on the right side of the car. This is to give the driver better control and visibility ( especially when overtaking - your side comes out of the lane first). Some people used to say to switch between LH drive and RH drive patterns are difficult, but in fact it is not. I do that very often ( In Dubai and India). The only thing to be kept in mind is you are always on the middle of the road. (Anyway I get confused with motor bikes...)

I drive a Holden Manaro... Called the Pontiac GTO in the USA and the pedals are in the same posistion on the left hand floor board Accelerator inside brake middle clutch far left. Just shift with my right hand. Driving a RDH car "down there" sounds like fun!

I'm in the US and for some strange reason we sit on the left hand side of the car and drive on the right side of the road.

The petals are standard on all cars no matter which side of the car they are on.

In the US, we drive on the right, with steering wheel on the left. From left to right: clutch, brake, accelerator.

yep. you use the legs in the same way. the only differences you will have to get used to is the shifter on your right hand, and the clearance of the car when turning to the right.
