what's the flattest matt paint (and quickest drying)- i want the paint to be totally NON-REFLECTIVE, totally NON-GLOSS and totally flat matt. Which ones can you recommend folks?

Go to Leyland and get Black Eggshell.

You've caught me slightly on the hop here but International Paints, the people who the paint for doorsteps and so on, do one that I think is exactly what you want. Depends how much you want, photographic suppliers stock that paint for dulling reflective surfaces but I have only ever seen that in aerosols.

depends what you want to paint, try blackboard paint if an indoor job or jiplak flat black for outside

hammerite in a can, dries in minutes & doesnt shine, get it from halfords, used for my bumpers on my van worked a treat
