I have my own gong that I strike a couple of times before meditation. You might enjoy the sound of a "Singing Bowl" too. I am not kidding, that's what it is called in Tibetan Buddhism. Not to be confused with other kinds of bowls (or bongs like the other guy).

I actually have a gong midi on my Korg... I never use it but totally will incorporate it into some backing now. Thanks man!
