What would've been a better approach at recording than the Get Back/Let it Be sessions at Twickenham and Apple?

They were a band of multiple egos.. thats what really broke them up...

They have been on the verge of breaking apart in any case. lots of persons blame Yoko, yet i think of The Beatles could have broken up ultimately. yet in fairness Yoko replaced into the nail in the coffin for them lol They weren't as close as they use to be, and that they each had their changes musically.

Well, although their break up was devastating, i think it was all for the best. They each had very different, contrasting personalities. After Brian Epstein died, their whole approach to music and each other changed. They needed to persue their own interests and dreams without being chained to the high standard of "The Beatles".

Its not that "it was Yoko's fault". Its just that John Lennon couldn't be satisfied anymore by just being one of the Fab Four. He out grown his relationship with McCarteny as well as the other two members of the group. He was a highly political individual, and i don't think BEATLES in general were political, although there was a lot of vatiations on the theme again probably initialized by still by Lennon.

That's impossible to say. Look at all the other bands from that era? Are any of them together still?

I think The Beatles were a lot more productive for a lot longer than almost every other band that's ever been. Who else can boast such a large catalog of high quality music? No one.....

i don't think they couldve done anything, but getting rid of yoko ono wouldve slowed it down. also to whoever it was that said they were the most productive band or together for so long or whatever.... the rolling stones have been together 40 years. think about that.

Maybe, if they didn't want to start a family or be with their wives or girlfriends more, then they wouldn't have to break up.

They wanted to reach out to other people, and were quite bored with each other.

People change, dreams and goals change. I'm not shocked that they broke up. They wanted to pursue their own dreams and be free to do so. How is that hard for anyone to understand?
